Straightness Control Systems
Straightness Control Systems

G·I·S·C Technology
The straightness control system developed by TETAN operates according to the following process:
A profile sensor scans the material by moving along the material axis. After turning the material at its longitudinal axis, the sensor drives back to its starting position and operates the second scan. The influence of gravity on the material is automatically compensated, on this basis, the straightness results can be calculated.
Neither the material cross-section nor material data are required to determine the result.
This method can be used with the following materials:
- Round and profile tubes
- Hollow bars and hollow profiles
- Round bars and solid profiles
Features
SIMPLE MACHINE SETTING
No material and geometric data regarding the long products to be measured are required for machine setup.
ROBUST AND RESISTANT DESIGN
Because of the simple and robust design, recalibrating of the system is not necessary.
WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS
With TETAN straightness control systems the straightness of long products with various cross-sections can be measured.
MODULAR DESIGN
TETAN straightness control systems can be integrated Into existing systems. Depending on requirements, installations on the floor or overhead solutions are possible.
SIMPLE FOUNDATION AND EASY ERECTION
TETAN straightness control systems do not need special foundations and can be erected quickly without time-consuming adjustment work.
