Straightening Machines and Automats
S·F·F·S Technology
With the patented S·F·F·S straightening process [Shear-Force-Free-Straightening] the necessary process forces are applied exclusively via the material ends. Therefore, no cross forces act on the surface of the materials being straightened. It is also essential that the shear-force-free straightening process reduces residual stresses in the material.
The following materials can be straightened:
- Metallic bars, tubes, and hollow profiles with rotationally symmetrical or near-circular cross-sections.
- Finished products, semi-finished products, and raw material in fixed or random lengths.
Features
WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS
Straightening of bars and profiles, hollow profiles and tubes is possible on one machine.
SUPERIOR SURFACE QUALITY
No straightening marks due to contact-free straightening process.
REDUCTION OF RESIDUAL STRESS
Residual stress will be reduced due to the shear force free straightening process.
SHORT UNSTRAIGHTENED ENDS
Short clamping lengths allow for short unstraightened ends.
LOW OPERATING COSTS
Energy-efficient straightening process and low costs for tools and operating supplies.
SHORT CHANGE OVER TIMES
Ergonomically good tool change positions and machine settings by touch of a button.
VARIABLE MACHINE CONCEPTS
From stand-alone machines to machine concepts fully integrated machine concepts in production lines.
